The objective of the competition was to design a sustainable, transportable, and comfortable structure that captured the eternal qualities of the site. Prefabricated portions of the structure would be transported from Sacramento to San Luis Obispo by truck and assembled in the parking lot. The final form would be wheeled up a 1.5 Mile hiking trail to Poly Canyon. Upon arrival, the wheels would be replaced with rotating plywood platforms connected to the 4x4 with U-brackets to accommodate the slope.
